For more than a century, the hotel has been a meeting place for the people of Korčula and travellers alike, among them renowned writers, diplomats and artists from around the world. On the terrace of the former Hotel De la Ville, conversations mingled with the sounds of arriving ships and the glow of the evening sea. Today, traces of the Belle Époque blend effortlessly with warm wood, tactile fabrics and island-inspired art. History is not observed from afar here, but felt through the elegance of the house, the tranquillity of its spaces and the waterfront view that has remained almost unchanged for over a century.
