Start by walking along the well-maintained promenade along the beach. Breathe in the fragrant air and rest your eyes on the turquoise sea. Then maybe throw some bocce. Tomorrow, you can climb St. Ilija. You can also bike. Or take a kayak from the cove to the vineyards slowly. Of course, if you are here for the surf, you know what to do. Viganj is waiting for you.
Take the path along the sea. It won't take you long to reach Orebić, but if you go up, be sure to bring water, put on better shoes and be prepared, because St. Ilija looks small, but it is a serious mountain, from the top of which one of the most beautiful views in Dalmatia can be seen. The next day, visit a winery. Or try a new sport. The possibilities are numerous.
If you brought your bike - we understand. You'll go to Sv. Ilija to enjoy the view, or ride slowly from winery to winery. If you haven't got a bike, rent one at the reception of the nearby Aminess Younique Bellevue hotel and jump to Viganj or Orebić for a test ride. If you like it, Pelješac has over 100 km of groomed trails.
With a kayak you can approach every rock, secluded beach or vineyard you see. We recommend joining one of the guided tours to discover all the beauty of Pelješac's nature. Or take a two-seater and find a romantic haven of sun and sea.
If you are planning to head from Orebić to St. Elijah, we must warn you that it is a strenuous hike of several hours and you must have a map and all the equipment. No kidding. If you have no hiking experience, you are left with only those 100 km of groomed trails and walkways. I guess that will be enough for you.
Due to favorable conditions and strong winds, Viganj has long been a favorite destination for windsurfers and kitesurfers. You can join them in racing through the Pelješac Channel, or, if you don't have enough experience, sign up for a surfing or kitesurfing school. Surrender to the will of the wind.
