Sports and recreation

You are close to Croatia’s surfing paradise – Viganj – so don’t miss the chance to try surfing. Or paddle boarding. Or at least, play tennis. Whether alone, in a group, or with a team of friends you’ve just met – enjoy an active and fun-filled holiday. We know you love it.

Cycling

With its steep climbs, Pelješac commands respect from cyclists, even on its easier trails. A few challenging routes start near the hotel, but a mountain bike is a must. You can rent one at the hotel.

Tennis

Improve your serve or net play while on holiday at the nearby Aminess Younique Bellevue Hotel. Book your court time as early as possible, as slots fill up quickly. If you are coming in summer, the most popular is early morning or late evening, to avoid the heat.

Surfing and kitesurfing

Pelješac is Croatia’s prime wind and kite surfing destination. If you have never tried surfing before, there are several surfing schools nearby, where you can also rent equipment. This is wind surfing, not wave surfing. If you want to see how it's done, head to Viganj (5 km away from the hotel) and check it out before signing up for lessons.

Kayaking

Kayaking in Pelješac is liberating because you can reach every beach, cliff or vineyard. If you are part of a group, there are guided kayak tours for kids and adults, where you can meet wildlife, birds and sea creatures. If you are an active couple, rent a tandem kayak and go wherever your imagination takes you. Just bring water.

Running and hiking

The Sv. Ilija (St. Elias) massif stretches along the entire Pelješac Peninsula and is a perfect terrain for hikers and runners. The mountain is dangerous, the weather can change quickly, so be sure to bring a map, enough water and some snacks. If you prefer gentle walks, a seaside promenade starts in front of the hotel and leads to the town centre.
