Aminess Wine & Gourmet Nights are an opportunity to witness the skills of renowned chefs preparing creative seasonal 5-course feasts in Aminess restaurants.

Aminess Wine & Gourmet Nights are held at several Aminess destinations. In Novigrad they happen every month.

Wine lovers can walk or run, tasting the best wines of this region at the Wine and Walk by the Sea or Wine Trail events.

Children will love the Street Magicians Festival or that special night of the year when we turn off the street lights, and everyone looks at the sky through telescopes.

Events on the island of Krk

The golden island is a treasure trove of events all year round.

The Krk Island Wine Days are held on the last weekend of August in Vrbnik, the homeland of Žlahtina, the indigenous wine of the island of Krk.

The Black Sheep Gastronomic and Cultural Festival is held in May in Baška. What started as a tasting of numerous local dishes made from young Baška lamb, the festival has gained cultural and sports segments over the years, making it a favorite among hikers and walkers.

The Krk Fair – Lovrečeva has been held since the 16th century and consists of historical (medieval fair, tournaments, fencing, etc.) and traditional parts (a hand-carving of prosciutto competition, a traditional fair, etc.).

The Days of Šurlice, Asparagus, and Figs are held every year; in the spring, asparagus with šurlice are the first on the menus of numerous restaurants, and figs join them at the end of summer when they ripen and become part of dishes and desserts.

The Vrbnik Užance in the historic city center, show old customs and ways of life on the island of Krk through song and dance. Užance includes children's Glagolitic and wool felting workshops, music and stage programs, art exhibitions, performances by kantur, tancur and sopac, Vrbenska poets, and other lovers of heritage and antiquity.

Spring on Wheels is dedicated to the cycling and hiking trails of the island of Krk. It includes three tours with expert guidance: a tour for cyclists, scooters, and quads. A mini fair for two and four wheels is usually held on the Krk waterfront.

Events on the Pelješac Peninsula

As Croatia's most famous wine region, Pelješac will delight you with Plavac Mali, Dingac, Postup, and numerous wine and gastronomic tours and festivals.

You should not miss them.

If you are staying in Orebić, you can enjoy the Pelješac Captains Festival, which will take you back to when Pelješac was the maritime center of this part of the Mediterranean.

Costumed actors on the streets, visits to the exotic gardens of captains' houses, and numerous other activities will be like a journey through time. If you miss the festival, at the very least visit the Maritime Museum in Orebić.

If you want, you can spend a day in the Ston Salt Flats, which are over 4,000 years old and among the oldest in the world. Or just visit them and admire the ancient efficiency.

When you need some peace, visit the abandoned village of Nakovane, a few minutes drive from Viganj, up the hill. The easiest path to the top of St. Ilija also passes through Nakovane village, if you are planning a hiking trip.

Sports enthusiasts can register for the STONe Wall Marathon - a race along the Ston walls, the longest defensive wall in Europe.

Of course, if you are already on Pelješac, don't miss Croatia's Windsurfing Championship, which takes place in July every year.

Events on the island of Korčula

Korčula is happy to share its rich history with visitors. The biggest attraction is undoubtedly Moreška, a folk dance performance about the clash of two armies and the kumpanija in Blato and Smokvica.

If you are more into food and drinks, we recommend Korčula, the Island of Wine, where you can taste the most indigenous varieties in the vineyards and the sites where the vines are grown. Alternatively. at Korčula Beer Festival you can taste numerous Croatian craft beers.

The sporty ones will surely know about the Marco Polo Challenge triathlon and Vela Luka Outdoors, which take you through the beautiful nature of Korčula on a bike, on foot, and swimming.

History lovers can enjoy the processions of the brotherhoods of All Saints, St. Roch, and St. Michael, which hold 55 processions throughout the year. The most beautiful ones happen during the Holy Week (“Vele setemane”) and on St. Todor (July 29), the patron saint of the town of Korčula.

Fans of baroque music might enjoy the Korčula Baroque Festival, whose concerts are held in authentic settings of cultural monuments on the island of Korčula and the Pelješac peninsula.

Events in Crikvenica

The “Na palade” festival focuses on a theme each year (last year, it was film music), which is then interpreted by musical performers, comedians, and storytellers.

Musical summer evenings are held almost every Tuesday during the summer. They feature various talented musicians performing in the unique seaside setting of Crikvenica.

CrikvArt is a festival of street entertainers and performers. During this festival, Crikvenica's streets, squares, parks, and waterfronts become a stage for acrobats, jugglers, musicians, actors, clowns, and street performers who often animate the audience and draw them into the performance.

If you like beer, don't miss the Beer Garden Festival, where you can try the best of Croatian craft beers, with a barbecue, live music, and all this in a park in the middle of the city, just a step away from the sea

Swimmers know that in August, one of the oldest swimming marathons in Croatia, Šilo-Crikvenica, is held. The event and race are traditionally held on August 15, on the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Crikvenica.

Monty's Underdog Marathon is held annually in August and is a unique race in which human-dog pairs compete in an amateur aquathlon. If your dog likes to swim, sign up.

The Crikvenica Cup, a futsal tournament for children and youth organized by the Crikvenica Riviera, is also held annually. If you're all too old, your kids will likely manage to win the cup.

Events in Novi Vinodolski

Altroke Food Festival takes place in the center of Novi Vinodolski in may. Numerous ​​food trucks park along the city center, each cooking different cuisine and delicacies. It's ideal for lunch or dinner on the go.

Okolotorno is a night walk through the streets of the Old Town of Novi Vinodolski, which are decorated and specially lit for the occasion. During the walk, you visit all the sights of the historic center of Novi Vinodolski and learn about the city's history and important events. Okolotorno is held every Wednesday in July.

At the end of July, the famous "Kilometer Festival" is held, when numerous stands with delicious desserts, homemade products, brandies, handmade souvenirs, and other handicrafts appear along the promenades to the Havana beach bar. The rich gastronomic offer is matched with numerous musical performances.

The Sparkling Breakfast has been held in the greenery of the vineyards of the Pavlomir winery for three consecutive years. You can happily pair local sparkling wines with various traditional delicacies from local and small producers in a casual, fun, and country setting

Events in Makarska

Makarska offers a variety of exciting excursions for tourists, from exploring nearby islands to hiking in the stunning Biokovo mountains.
Klapa performances in Makarska are a must-see, as the harmonious sounds of traditional a cappella singing echo through the town, capturing the essence of Dalmatian culture.

The Makarska Summer takes place from mid-June to early September, including musical and theatrical performances, exhibitions, and food.

Every July, the Dalmatian Klapa Festival is held in Omiš, with numerous concerts celebrating traditional Dalmatian acapella singing. If you are interested in what the best klapa in Croatia sounds like, book tickets early, as it gets crowded.

Omiš hosts a reenactment of a 13th-century naval battle between Venetian and Omiš pirates every July.

The WTA Makarska Open tennis tournament for women takes place in early June. This tournament was previously held in Bol on the island of Brač and is usually attended by players from the top 200 on the ATP rankings.

The Makarska Jazz Festival takes place in late August, so if you're a jazz fan, plan your vacation at Aminess accordingly.

At the end of September, Podgora hosts Blitvijada - a festival celebrating the popular leafy green vegetable chard. You will spend most of your time tasting chard dishes (even ice cream!), and enjoying live music and games for kids. You should dress in green, like a true chard fan.

Events on the island of Pag

The island of Pag hosts numerous klapa concerts, where visitors can enjoy the beauty of traditional Croatian music in a stunning coastal setting.
Kayaking on Pag allows you to explore its hidden beaches, where the combination of beautiful weather and crystal-clear water makes for an unforgettable experience.

The Pag Cultural Summer brings concerts by renowned and new musicians, acapella groups, folklore ensembles, and art exhibitions. All events take place in the beautiful interior of Pag Cathedral, in the atrium of the Doge's Palace, on the streets, and in the churches. It lasts all summer. When you arrive, find out what the program is like during those days.

The Winter Carnival begins on the first Saturday after Epiphany and lasts until the first day of Lent - Ash Wednesday. Every Saturday, hotels, and restaurants hold masquerade parties, culminating in the last three days with wild revelry and the burning of a carnival doll held responsible for all the evils that happened in the past year.

Zrće Beach occupies the most prominent place in Pag tourism. The "Croatian Ibiza", attracts an increasing number of young people yearning for summer fun. The Papaya, Calypso, and Aquarius clubs offer 24-hour entertainment, with music by the world's most famous DJs.

The Pag Sheep and Cheese Expo is held every first weekend in July. This competition awards sheep farmers for the best sheep, dairy farmer, and Pag cheese. This is followed by a tasting of all the candidate cheeses.

The Pag Triangle is a megalithic footprint on a rock measuring 32x32x22 meters shaped like an iron footprint. This natural phenomenon is located a few kilometers from Novalja. Since there is no paved path, visiting it requires some skill in overcoming the rocky terrain.
