Cycling

From a pleasant ride along the coast to a demanding climb on Biokovo, cycling routes reveal two very different landscapes. A 15-kilometre route follows the promenade towards Kotišina and the botanical garden, while the ascent to Sveti Jure at 1,762 metres above sea level is intended for experienced, well-equipped cyclists.

Hiking

Biokovo trails lead to viewpoints and peaks such as Vošac, Štrbina and Sveti Jure, the mountain’s highest peak at 1,762 metres. Other places worth visiting include the Skywalk at 1,228 metres and the Kotišina Botanical Garden. Exploring the mountain requires good preparation, suitable footwear and clothing, and enough water, especially on longer and more demanding routes.
