More than 55 years of tradition
From a company which operated back in 1970 as part of Poreč and Umag tourist enterprises, Laguna Novigrad d.d. developed into one of the leading Croatian tourist companies.
As part of its “Aminess Hotels & Resorts” brand, Aminess Hospitality Group d.o.o. boasts a total of 18 hotels, 5 campsites and 3 resorts with villas and suites, situated at the most attractive destinations along the Adriatic coast – in Istria, on the islands of Krk, Pag and Korčula, as well as in Novi Vinodolski, Crikvenica, Makarska and on the peninsula of Pelješac. Auctor kapital d.o.o. from Zagreb is majority shareholder in the Company.

The Emonia Hotel in Novigrad was built
1969.
The opening of Sirena Campsite in Novigrad
1970.
Destination Novigrad comprises the following facilities: Trst, Emonia and Afrodita hotels with 302 beds, new Laguna Hotel with 450 beds, and Novigrad campsite
1971.

The Maestral Hotel with 708 beds was built
1994.
Through the transformation, the Company became a joint-stock company, and an initial public offering (IPO) of the Company was carried out on the Zagreb Stock Exchange
2011.
The Feral Hotel (now Aminess Lume) on the island of Korčula enters the company portfolio
2014.
Grand Hotel Orebić (now Aminess Grand Azur Hotel) on the Pelješac peninsula enters the company portfolio
2016.
On 1 January 2016 Laguna Novigrad d.d. launches its new brand Aminess Hotels & Campsites
2020.
Aminess Hotels & Resorts is expanding its operations to the island of Krk, taking over the tourist properties of the company Hoteli Njivice d.o.o., which include Magal Maradiso Hotel by Aminess, Veya Maradiso Hotel by Aminess, the Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort, and the Aminess Younique Gaia Green Villas on the island of Krk.
2021.
Laguna Novigrad d.d. is changing its name to Aminess d.d. and is becoming the majority owner of the companies HTP Korčula d.d. and HTP Orebić d.d., thereby including in its portfolio:
- the Marko Polo Hotel (now Marko Polo Maradiso Hotel by Aminess)
- the Liburna Hotel (now Aminess Younique Liburna Hotel),
- the Korčula Hotel (now Aminess Younique Korčula Heritage Hotel),
- the Port 9 complex (now Aminess Vival Port 9 Resort) on the island of Korčula,
- the Orsan Hotel (now Orsan Maradiso Hotel by Aminess),
- the Bellevue Hotel (now Aminess Younique Bellevue Hotel),
- the Bellevue Villas (now Bellevue Maradiso Village by Aminess),
- the Bellevue Dependance (now Bellevue Maradiso Casa by Aminess) on the Pelješac Peninsula.
Aminess Hospitality Group d.o.o. is taking over the management of the new hotel in Makarska – Aminess Laurel Khalani Hotel.
2024.
Opening of the new five-star Aminess Avalona Camping Resort on the island of Pag
Operational management of new properties – Aminess Lišanj Family Hotel (Novi Vinodolski), Mediteran Hotel by Aminess (Crikvenica) and Aminess Younique Narrivi Hotel (Crikvenica)
Operational management of new properties – Aminess Velaris Resort (island of Brač) and Aminess Senses Resort (island of Hvar)
Refurbishment of the Aminess Atea Camping Resort on the island of Krk into a luxury 5-star campsite – Aminess Style Camping Atea Resort (opening planned for spring 2025)
