Hop on a boat, find your perfect spot and enjoy the summer sea breeze and, most importantly, this fun boat ride. Watch the sea, small towns and coves, sea gulls and fish following you on your journey and have fun in good company. After enjoying the views of the romantic town of Rovinj, explore the peculiar Istria's natural phenomenon – the Lim Bay. The bay was formed in Jurassic limestone, it is 10 km long and 600 m wide and it will amaze you with its rare and diverse vegetation and steep cliffs. It is also called the Lim Fjord thanks to the film "The Vikings" with Kirk Douglas in which the Lim Canal became a fjord, and the locals often jokingly call the end of the bay the Lim Buttocks. Anyhow, there will be swimming, sunbathing and a good time at the Lim Bay. Lunch will be served on board followed by the music and you'll have plenty of positive impressions to take back with you.

Venice



The amazing town of Venice in Italy is only a 2-hour boat ride from Novigrad. It will sweep you off your feet with its 118 small islands and the romantic images of gondolas and famous bridges. The town itself is an open museum, taking its visitors on a walk through the film, historic and literary sets of famous works of art. Go to the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs and take a photo or two. Enjoy a walk along St. Mark's Square in the company of pigeons. Admire the works of Venetian architectural masterminds, the acclaimed sites of artistic expression and mysterious palaces. You might be intrigued to find out how the best known Venetian product, the Murano glass, is made. And you'll surely find time for romance, looking back on it with nostalgia.

Brijuni Islands



If you want to get away from the bustling town of Novigrad, head towards the Veli Brijun Island, one of the 16 islands of the exquisite Brijuni National Park. Once you get there, enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by the flora and fauna from faraway places. You can learn more about the intriguing history between the island and the Yugoslav statesman Tito. As you ride the small tourist train along the holm oak, pine tree, cypress, redwood and eucalyptus forest, you can see the exotic plants and animals Tito was given by foreign statesmen as a gift. You might be surprised that as many as 200 dinosaur tracks have been discovered on the Veli Brijun Island. The island will also show you the 1600 years old olive tree, some of the truly unique archaeological sites, traces of different cultures, Illyrian settlements and the Byzantine Castrum. You can make the most of your free time going on a bike or buggy ride.

Plitvice Lakes

Choose the perfect outfit for a day out in nature and go on an excursion to one of the most stunning world parks. Plitvice Lakes will be your favourite memory of Croatia no matter which time of year you visit them. There is much more to the lakes than just seeing the most famous waterfalls. The emerald colour of the perfectly tuned 16 lakes, the natural stone and the incredible flora and fauna are simply magnificent, beaming with beauty and inspiration. The colours are sublime. The sound is mesmerising. And the scenery is as if you have just walked into the Lords of the Rings film set.
You can walk along wooden trails and go on small train and boat rides. We recommend that you visit the bigger and deeper Upper Lakes (12 of them) in the morning when they are bathed in sunshine. Of course, don't miss the Large Waterfall (Veliki slap) – the biggest one in Croatia. Plitvice Lakes National Park are included on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List.

Aquapark Istralandia



The amazing rides of the Istralandia water park are a must while you are in Istria. You will find the best water adventure right next to Novigrad, amidst a green oasis between River Mirna and the Adriatic Sea. There are more than 1.2 km of water slides to enjoy on 4500 m2. You can dive into the swimming pool from the 27 m high free fall slide or take on the waves in the largest swimming pool on the Mediterranean (2500 m2). If you want to relax, you can go to the 2-level hydro massage swimming pool for adults. The little ones will surely love the children's swimming pool with a water castle and water slides (on 1000 m2). Opatija and its imperial luxury of the villas, hotels and monuments will bedazzle you. Small Medieval Istrian Hilltop Towns



Visit the magical small medieval towns in the Istrian hinterland during your stay in Novigrad. Parenzana Train



We will start our journey by a small tourist train enjoying a welcome drink at the legendary Parenzana railway station in the small town of Vižinada. The hilltop above the River Mirna valley will be the perfect place to admire the view of the sea and the green picturesque hinterland. The tunnels and viaducts will take us to our second stop - Rakotule. We'll relax enjoying the sound of folklore music, home-made bread, olive oil, Istrian wine and other traditional delicacies. Breath-taking panoramic views will follow us for the rest of the way. After we arrive to the old railway station, we will swap our small train for a bus taking us to the magical town of Motovun. We will delight in the flavours and fragrances of this lovely hilltop Istrian town, enjoying the comfort of its medieval town walls.

Lake Bled



The excursion to Lake Bled in Slovenia will surely intrigue nature enthusiasts and romantics staying in Novigrad. Join us on a journey through the green Slovenian countryside to our final destination, the fairytalelike Bled. Bled, one of the most beautiful Alpine summer resorts, is known for its emerald lake with the secluded small island and church, the medieval castle atop steep cliffs and the highest peaks of the Julian Alps and Karawanks admiring their own reflection in the lake. Poreč Sunset Sea Kayaking

Sit in a kayak, start paddling and enjoy the crystal clear sea and warm sunrays. Watch Poreč from the sea and admire the view known from the books and postcards. Continue your adventure along the secluded small islands and hidden coves, listening to the sea gulls and the chatter on distant beaches. You will pass by the charming island of St. Nikola, enjoy the colours of the Plava and Zelena laguna and relax on one of the serene beaches. After this reinvigorating break, you'll head back admiring the magnificent sun setting down in all of its red glory. For a moment there, it might seem as if the best place to enjoy the sunset is right here – in a kayak.

Postojna Cave and Lipizzaner Farm



We are taking you on a tour of the Postojna Cave, a world-known karst phenomenon, and to visit the Lipica stud farm – the cradle of the world-renowned Lipizzaner horses. We will first enter the unique Postojna Cave and go on an electric train ride along a double track loop railway. The breath-taking 20 km long cave has been formed by River Pivka for more than one million years. We will pass by more than 5 km of trenches and meet the only resident of this dark cave – the olm. We will study the halls of Kalvarija, Plesna, Gotička, Kristalna and Koncertna halls and the caves Črna jama, Planinska jama and Lepa jama at the temperature of only 9°C. We will also see the largest stalagmite called the Brilliant. The nearby Lipica farm and the elegance of the snow-white Lipizzaner horses whose origin dates back to 16th century and the Spanish Riding School in Vienna will be a truly enchanting experience. It will be a grand ending to an exciting day spent in Slovenia.

Baredine Cave



Baredine Cave located nearby Poreč will make a pleasant refreshment during a hot summer day. You'll need the right shoes and the will to walk down the stairs. This will be a small price to pay to enjoy a super fun tour of the Istrian stalactites and stalagmites. The sightseeing lasts 40 minutes and during that time, you'll descend down the 300 m long pathway. You will pass by a 4 m wide and 66 m deep crater leading to the underground lakes and by 5 halls and 5 galleries of abstract and realistic sculptures. The adventure will be even greater when you meet the underground's only resident – the endemic olm. Once the tour is over, there'll be only one thing left to say – being underground is cool and fun.
