HUMAN RIGHTS, HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Laguna Novigrad d.d. is obligated to carry out the established guidelines of this policy at its Aminess Maestral Hotel, Aminess Laguna Hotel, Aminess Lume Hotel, Aminess Grand Azur Hotel, Aminess Sirena Campsite and Aminess Maravea Camping Resort, respecting and implementing legal regulations and the principles of the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and encouraging employees, guests and partners to accept and observe the rights and dignity of all human beings.

RESPECT FOR EMPLOYEE'S RIGHTS
The organisation respects all provisions of employment law by entering into employment relationship through valid employment agreements, by respecting the legal age limit for employment and the ban on employing minors for particular jobs, by implementing collective negotiations of working conditions, by protecting the lives, health and privacy of employees, by protecting pregnant employees, parents and foster parents, by protecting employees who are temporarily or permanently unable to work, by ensuring the possibility of trial work, education and work training, by respecting the length and schedule of working hours, by ensuring the appropriate length of holidays and leave, by providing appropriate wages for work, including special bonuses and additional pay for work during holidays, afternoon and night shift work, and overtime work, and by providing a working schedule with sufficient daily, weekly and annual pauses.
BAN ON HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION
The organisation respects diversity, talents and ideas. It does not allow any form of harassment or discrimination related to any manner of personal opinion or the physical or mental state of any person, including the abuse of children or minors.
Each employee or any other person who has knowledge of any manner of harassment or abuse of any other person or child is required to inform the competent institutions of such occurrences.
Police headquarters/police stations and social care centres are institutions that will investigate all reports and take all necessary measures to afford abused individuals and children protection from violence.
Police reports are submitted via emergency phone number 92 or by phone to the nearest police station.
CONDEMNATION OF FORCED LABOUR, SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
The organisation does not carry out and condemns any form of forced labour, exploitation or human trafficking, including sex tourism, and expects the same of its employees, guests and partners.
HEALTH PROTECTION AND SAFETY
Regarding health, safety and comfort, the organisation continually invests material and human resources into the improvement of working conditions for employees and of stays for guests in all Aminess Hotels & Campsites facilities.
All legally required measures and other applicable measures related to the regular maintenance of all facilities and their infrastructure, compliance testing of equipment, devices and installations, regular preventive check-ups, proper handling of dangerous chemicals and other dangerous materials, and the drafting of assessments of risk and all other factors affecting health and safety are regularly carried out.
RESPECTING THE RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES
The organisation accepts the principles and obligations of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, implements the legislative framework of the Republic of Croatia and the recommendations of the Council of Europe, and respects the guidelines of good practice regarding equality and accessibility when planning and implementing services and amenities.
